Assam SLET Exam Date
Indian states administer the SLET Exam, the State Level Eligibility Test. It is comparable to the National Eligibility Test (NET). However, it is only available in a single state. The SLET exam aims to determine if applicants are qualified for Lectureship posts in universities and colleges located in that particular state or union area. It evaluates the candidates’ subject-matter expertise and capacity to instruct at higher education levels.
Applicants must have completed their 2-year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree from any institution or university that is UGC-approved. The minimum percentage obtained must be 55% for the general category.
Relaxation
There is a relaxation of 5% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category candidates.

The Assam State Level Eligibility Test Commission has begun the application process for SET/SLET 2024. Apply for the test at sletneonline.co.in.

Online enrollment begins in November and closes in January 2024. Exam fee deposits are due at banks in January.
The test will be held in March 2024 across all North East state universities.
