FAQ
My GCkey username and password are accurate?
Your username and password are correct if you can log in successfully, and the website for the Canada visa then redirects you to the language selection page.
To log in again and see your Canada visa application, you must erase the cookies from your browser.
Login issues on the Canada Visa website Can you successfully log in?
After successfully entering their login and password, many users have the problem of the website continually redirecting them back to the language selection screen.
Canadian immigration has not officially provided a solution to this problem. The only solution we have tried and verified that consistently works is wiping the browser’s cookies.
Will erasing browser cookies make it easier for me to sign in to the Canadian website?
You may log in to the website with just one try if you clear your browser’s cookies, notably those from the website for Canada visas.
No further remedy is required.
Will enabling private mode in the browser help me prevent the login issues?
When opening and logging in to the Canada visa website for the first time, using Chrome’s “In-Cognitio” mode or Mozilla Firefox’s “Private” mode does work.
However, following the initial try, cookies are saved, and you can start experiencing the loop issue once more.
I advise regularly clearing the website’s cookies before logging in.
