Customers may stop using their Standard Chartered credit cards by following the procedures supplied by the bank. If your credit card is lost or stolen, call your bank immediately and get it blocked using one of the four methods provided by Standard Chartered.

NetBanking:

The most convenient way to block your credit card is through internet banking. You can restrict a credit card using your net banking account in only three steps:

  • First, go to the Standard Chartered Bank website and sign in to your net banking account with your user ID and password.
  • Choose ‘Help & Services’ from the list of alternatives.
  • Select ‘Report Lost/Stolen Card’ from the Card Management section and follow the on-screen steps.

A pop-up message on your device’s screen will inform you that your card has been blocked and that a new card will be mailed to you at your registered mailing address.

Application for Mobile:

You must first download the Standard Chartered mobile banking app and then proceed as follows:

  • Launch the mobile banking app and sign in with your online banking credentials.
  • Select Help & Services.
  • Go to the card management area and click the Report Lost/Stolen Card button.
  • Follow the steps on the page to get your credit card banned.

Once your credit card has been stopped, the bank will mail you a replacement card to your home address.

Telephone Banking:

Customers of Standard Chartered Bank can also use phone banking to submit their credit card questions or concerns. If the credit cardholder misplaces their card, they can also use phone banking to get their card banned. Contact the bank by dialing the toll-free customer service number 1800-345-1000 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and following the instructions below.

  • Call the customer service toll-free number and input your 4-digit Telephone Identification Number when prompted by the IVR.
  • Follow the IVR’s additional instructions to block your Standard Chartered Credit Card.

Standard Chartered Bank Location:

You may also submit your credit card block request at a bank location. Follow the steps outlined below;

  • Go to the nearest Standard Chartered Bank branch and fill out the credit card block application at the counter.
  • Complete the form and return it to the bank branch.
